The Marquez Knolls Property Owners Association (MKPOA), Inc. is a non-profit corporation originally formed decades ago to receive enforcement powers from the “Lachman developers” of the Marquez Knolls residential tracts under recorded Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R) applicable to the numerous “Lachman tracts” in the Marquez Knolls community. On October 25, 1994, the developers of these properties (declarants) in the Marquez Knolls area granted, assigned, and transferred to MKPOA, all judgment and enforcement rights and powers retained or reserved by the developers under the provisions of the CC&Rs pertaining to those properties. Since then, MKPOA has expanded its boundaries to include areas other than “Lachman tracts” to assist residents in the Marquez Knolls community at large with neighborhood issues and concerns.
